Thanks for pointing out the Weltwoche interview (caveat lector!) and the AQ Khan site.
Possibly the most interesting thing on Khan’s site is his publication list. What leaps out is his expertise in the making, characteristics, and applications of maraging steel — both bellows and tubes.
Judging by the list, Khan was openly describing KRL’s work on centrifuges in nuclear technology journals by the mid-1980s. Good advertising!
