Committee Executive Directorate and the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research co-organized the launch of technical guidelines developed under the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Coordination Compact to facilitate the implementation of Security Council resolution 2370 (2017) and related international standards and good practices on preventing terrorists from acquiring weapons. The Office delivered training to Iraqi and Jordanian officials on preventing terrorists from using chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear material and weapons, strengthening their capacities to implement their respective counter- terrorism response plans.
