The fact that Iraq already had so much yellowcake to begin with begs the question…for what purpose but to one day make nuclear weapons?
Please convince skeptics this was all for peaceful purposes. The Duelfer report clearly articulated Saddam’s long-term objectives and a nuclear capability was a long sought after goal.
Does anyone believe that Saddam would have done nothing as Iran continued to develop nuclear weapons?

The whole “affair” is currently exploding and is placing the credibility of Sismi on even shakier grounds than it was before (ask any Italian about their secret services but be prepared for hour-long discussions).

An interesting note about their extraordinary abilities is that the police simply tapped their mobile phones to figure out that they were involved in the Abu Omar story. How eminently competent.
